About Greenwood Corvettes here

Gordon Hunt and father, Bill Hunt, designed the car in 1981 for the SCCA Trans Am series and SCCA amateur races.  Scott Lewis, Walter Ott and Don Martz also contributed many hours of fabrication work. The car debuted at a Mid-Ohio SCCA regional race in the fall of 1982 and was of the first tube frame cars raced in what was then the SCCA Central Division, now Great Lakes division. The car was built specifically for SCCA's newly created GT-1 class. Hunt ran the car primarily in SCCA national and regional events and also the 1983 Trans-Am at Mid-Ohio with Gordon driving.  The car was sold to Phil Keirn after the 1984 season.
